Shes quite the trickster..

I wouldnt trust Harley at all. Her heart belongs to one and one only.. and sometimes not even he can handle her. Here she is in her magnificent beauty. Harley Quinn. Lover, trouble maker, the Jokers first lady. 

She was imagined up on Batmankoff and worked on in photoshop. I actually finished her a bit ago but I've been slammed with work so she's being posted up a little later than expected.

Well hello there

It's seahorses everywhere!!! This little mermaid makes new friends at every corner she turns.. 

She was done in red pencil on tones paper then inked over with a fine sharpie. I guess I'm not done with the mermaids after all :)

Belly rubs please!!!

Stormy loves belly rubs as he's half Siamese and he makes cute faces/poses as he asks for them.. Here's my final sketch of the night..

I've been watching Stormshadow (one of my little monsters also known as a cat) and drawing... I don't know why I didn't do this before he has such great poses some are awesome some I felt meh with but here they are

Done originally in blue or red pencil and then inked over with a fine tip sharpie. I will add these to my "to paint" list. 

She has groupies!!!

I bet these fish would follow her on tour!! Her voice Is mesmerizing.. The clams and fishes just love to listen to her songs. I guess I was wrong I am not done drawing mermaids yet.. Following today's theme of music ( earlier the dancing mermaid ) and now we know where their music is coming from.. 

This songstress was drawn in red pencil and inked over in black fine point sharpie. She too will wait in line for color to be added to her and her little groupies!! 

Dance with me..

.. To the music!! My final mermaid (maybe) I was listening to music today while I worked and this is the outcome.. Mermaids dancing underwater with fish!! 

This was done while sitting in union square. I used a blue pencil and inked with a fine black sharpie. I need to start painting these mermaids but I don't know if I can stop drawing them long enough to pick up a paint brush :) 

The clams are smitten..

.. And falling in love!! More mermaids!! Another pre-photoshop sketch! More of me enjoying the sun in union square. In SF our summers happen in August and Sept and when that happens my brain goes to the ocean and the magical creatures of the deep.. These little clams just can't stop falling hard for this mermaid as she pets them. Cupid's arrows hit the waters a little early. 

Done with red pencil in my sketchbook. Inked over with a fine sharpie. Soon to be transferred to photoshop for color to be added.

And she wonders how true they are!! More mermaids! I've been hanging out in union square in SF drawing mermaids and figured I should post my sketches before adding color to them

.. Purr when she pets them!! More mermaids!!! Drawing in union square SF has brought me back to mermaids.. I can't stop drawing them lately. Here's the sketch in my book before I take it to photoshop!

I started to do a little work on comic book characters.. I decided to start with one of my favorite villains.. Ivy has  always been a hard one to untangle yourself from.. especially if you love plants and flowers..

They can make you as happy as getting lost on the internet or losing yourself in a book you just cant manage to stop reading. They are an adventure of their own and each so different and unique and special in their own ways.

The last 2 months have been filled with a whirl wind of events left and right. It took some time but I finally finished up my latest piece. Sorry it took so long to bring to life. hope it puts a smile on your face too :D Done in photoshop on Batmankoff. 

Finding Each Other..

These two little love birds have found the best thing ever.

This was done on Batmankoff in photoshop. Its part of a set. This took a little while but was worth the wait of seeing it finished. The bleeding hearts just look perfect being added to this piece. 

watching him watching others..

All these beautiful birds in my backyard keep popping up either here or other places in the city. This piece was inspired by a beautiful blue bird I saw.  Then it was furthered by a photo of bleeding heart flowers my boyfriend sent me. I was intending just the blue bird but the bleeding hearts fully bring it together.

I did this in photoshop on Batmankoff. This is the first of a set. 

A little paradise in the city..

I've been walking by where the Parrots of Telegraph hill moved to recently. They aren't on Telegraph hill anymore. They are now located on the top of Vallejo street in San Francisco. When I lived in that area I could hear them all the time. They used to wake me with their songs in the mornings. Somewhere along the line this was inspired and I started painting it.  Here are two little birds of paradise caught finding each other in the trees..

This was done on Batmankoff using photoshop. I've been painting alot of birds lately and it seems to be turning into a theme.. for now. Enjoy

Love Indeed!!

These birds were inspired from a photograph on a community page I follow. Animal Story via facebook. I was looking at all of the photos and one caught my eye and I thought to create my own artistic variation of the picture. So here are two little Japanese White Eyes through my eyes.

The original photograph was taken at DaSyueShan, Taichung County in Taiwan by John&Fish.

Curiousity..

first print in a series I'm doing about the adventures that come out of having three cats. They follow you everywhere and are curious about everything. So much for private ME time.. I guess life wouldn't be as fun without them though.

Done in Photoshop on Batmankoff.. The setup was from my time in Vancouver but due to my busy sched as a VFX artist.. painting takes a backseat at times.

This piece was done as a gift to my boyfriend. He loves my kitties and coffee so much so I painted this on batgirl as a gift. The original is in his kitchen.

Dragons meeting

So I finally had a moment to work on this piece. Inspired by a photo I saw.. These little guys could be discussing anything from what's for lunch or how to save the galaxy without us ever knowing it.


I worked on Batgirl using Procreate to bring these guys to their decision making wheat they are sitting on.
